The policy on immigration, for four hundred years, as taken from the statue of liberty reads:
"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me.
I lift my lamp beside the golden door."
Who made the decision to apply this policy to everyone but Mexicans?
Our Government tells us that Eleven Million Spanish speaking immigrants live in the United States without papers. We all know there are many more.
Millions of men women and children have come here to make a contribution to our nation. Millions are paying taxes, improving the economy, raising the standard of living for themselves and for our entire nation; It is time that we immediately demand recognition and legalization for our good brothers and sisters.
Let us join together and reject the politics of hate and racism. Let us never be so blinded by hypocrisy that we can not see that we are all immigrant stock. Some of our ancestors came hundreds of years ago and some just got here. All came for the same reasons. We all want a better future for ourselves and our families. It is what makes us Americans. Let us join together and recognize that what is good for our brothers from south of the border is good for all of us. Let us see that as Americans we live in a Global Economy and economic injustice anywhere affects everyone everywhere. Kennedy told us that a raising tide raises all boats.
Let us make no mistake. The United States has the right to protect its borders. We are a great nation. Let us join together and protect our borders from those who seek to destroy us not blindly attack those who seek feed there families. I stand here today to demand my government use my tax dollars to defend against our enemies not attack our brothers and sisters who seek to work.
We need to stop the exploitation of these hard working, tax paying, brothers and sisters. Justice is not the act of taking advantage. Justice is a fair wage for days work. Justice is not a two class system politically designed and engineered to exploit immigrants.
Any and all change will only occur by way of patriotic peaceful protest. We must stand together, united, in peace. We should not accept injustice but practice Non violent civil disobedience. I am an attorney and officer of the court. I respect the lessons of Jesus Christ. You do not fight your enemy with violence challenge him with love and truth.
I am proud to be an American. I am proud to be a citizen born right here in Colorado. I am proud to live in Glenwood Springs, and I am proud to be here today with each and every one of you standing against the injustice of a governmental system of exploitation and intimidation. Let us say no to a wall between peoples. We must demand laws that recognize and legalize good people and protect us from the real enemies. Governments are temporary Justice is an American Policy self evident and forever.

La política de imigración, por cuatrocientos años, según lo tomado de la estatua de la libertad lee: "dénme su cansancio, sus pobres, sus masas amontonadas anhelando respirar libremente, el vertiente deplorable de su orilla. Envíenme éstos, el nómada, tempestad-sacudido. Levanto mi lámpara al lado de la puerta de oro." ¿Quién tomó la decisión para aplicar esta política a todos pero no a mexicanos? Nuestro gobierno nos dice que once millones de inmigrantes de habla hispana viven en los Estados Unidos sin los papeles. Todos sabemos que hay muchos más. Millones de mujeres, niños y hombres han venido aquí a hacer una contribución a nuestra nación. Millones están pagando impuestos, mejorando la economía, levantando el estándar de vida a sí mismos y a nuestra nación entera. Es tiempo que exijamos imediatamente el reconocimiento y la legalización para nuestros buenos hermanos y hermanas. Ensamblemos juntos y rechacemos la política del racism y del odio. Nunca fuimos cegados por la hipocresía que no permite ver que somos todos resultado de la imigracion. Algunos de nuestros antepasados vinieron hace centenares de años y algunos apenas consiguieron llegar aquí. Ensamblemos junto y reconozcamos que lo que es bueno para nuestros hermanos del sur de la frontera es bueno para todos nosotros. Veamos que como los americanos nosotros vivimos en una economía global y la injusticia económica dondequiera afecta cada uno por todas partes. Kennedy nos dijo que una marea que levanta levanta todos los barcos. No incurramos en ninguna equivocación. Los Estados Unidos tienen el derecho de proteger sus fronteras. Somos una gran nación. Ensamblemos juntos y protejamos nuestras fronteras contra los que intenten destruirnos no los que buscan la alimentación para sus familias aquí. Estoy parado aquí hoy para exigir mi uso del gobierno mis dólares del impuesto para defender contra nuestros enemigos, no para atacar a nuestros hermanos y hermanas que intentan trabajar. Necesitamos parar la explotación de nuestros hermanos y hermanas que trabajan duramente y pagan impuestos. La justicia es pago justo por trabajo justo. La justicia no es un sistema de dos clases politicamente disenado para explotar imigrantes. La justicia no es un sistema de dos clases diseñado y dirigido políticamente para explotar a inmigrantes. Cualquier y todo cambio ocurrirá solamente con protesta pacífica patriótica. Debemos estar parados juntos, unido, y en paz. No debemos aceptar injusticia sino practicar desobediencia civil no violenta. Soy abogado y oficial de la corte. Respeto las lecciones de Jesucristo. Usted no pelea a su enemigo con violencia lo desafía con amor y verdad. Soy orgulloso de ser un americano. Soy orgulloso de ser un ciudadano nacido a la derecha aquí en Colorado. Soy orgulloso de vivir en Glenwood Springs, y soy orgulloso de estar aquí hoy con cada uno de usted que está parado aqui contra la injusticia de un sistema gubernamental de explotación y de intimidación. Digamos no a una pared entre la gente. Debemos exigir las leyes que reconocen y legalizan a buena gente y nos protegen contra los enemigos verdaderos. Los gobiernos son justicia temporal son una política americana evidente en sí y por siempre.
